Artist Statement
I have worked with a variety of materials and learned various techniques to make my art.  I've been listing my occupation as "artist" for over twenty five years.  I am certain the future will continue to be full of experiments and all the starts and stops that keep me challenged in the studio.  The finished art reflects my observations about the life we live and how time moves me forward at a quickening pace.

The entire time I spend working in the studio involves a willingness to change.  Who would want to stay in the same spot?  It isn't even possible if I tried.  There is not a single moment that defines who I am as an artist.  I cannot predict how I will make art in my studio a few years from now.  This is not to say I don't have interests and passions that influence my artwork.  It is impossible to list all those things.  A touch of playfulness and curiosity enables me to make art inspired by the routines and rituals of daily life.  The challenge is realizing no two days are ever alike and that there is something waiting to be noticed.  This mind-set influences my relationships and keeps my art studio vital.
