Workshops, Visiting Artist, & Exhibitions
I enjoy giving art workshops, doing visiting artist projects, and artist residencies. I have worked with students from grade school to the university level. I have presented to retreat groups, adult art programs, juvenile delinquent programs, and teacher groups. If my art and poetry gives you ideas about a project or program then please contact me.
Studio Life
The "Zeorlin And Friends Studio Show" happens November 21-22. There will be a variety of art forms to view and purchase in time for the Christmas Holiday Season. There is a wide range of pricing as well. If you are interested in checking this event out send me an e-mail and I'll send you an invitation.
Calendar (October '08 -April '09)
October 18-19, 2008: I will participate in the annual Edom Festival of the Arts in Edom, Texas. I have not participated in an outdoor arts event in over ten years. Come to my booth carrying opened sun umbrellas (no rain umbrellas permitted) and spend time looking at my art.
November 1, 2008. I donated two Art Clocks to the Tyler Catholic School System's annual "Off To The Races" fund raiser. If you don't have the winning bid for either of my pieces come back to this web site and you'll find something to make you feel better about missing out!
November 21-22, 2008: The annual "Zeorlin And Friends" Studio Exhibition. This group exhibit features jewelry, ceramics, fine note cards, water color painting, and art clocks. This is a relaxing event to gather with friends (and make new ones) and view art by artists you may or may not know. Those who come are encouraged to invite friends to this event. There will be plenty of choices (in a wide price range) for Christmas gift giving and you don't have the troubles of going to a mall. Did I mention anything about a "Door Prize?" You don't want to miss this Studio Exhibition. Friday 11/21 from 7-8:30pm and Saturday 22/22 from 9-4pm. Rain or shine, hot or cold this event goes on. IF you want an announcement for this enjoyable fall event please send an e-mail with your name and address:
December 4, 2008: A one night stand of Art Clocks at Caffe Tazza in Tyler. Many who come into this coffee bar will be in the early stages of the shopping race. They'll stumble into this rest stop for angst driven shoppers and get a caffeine charge. As they are fretting about what holiday gifts to buy they'll discover my "Art Clocks." Just look at those pieces...hanging there waiting to save shoppers from days of traffic jams, mall crawls, and other retail horrors. (You can also buy them from my web site and I'll even ship directly to the lucky gift recipients....).
April 2009. April Is National Poetry Month. I'm doing a one month exhibit with the Tyler Public Library featuring art inspired by poetry as well as a selection of my poetry. Watch for more details on this art and poetry project in a few months.
